About Me

I am a graphic design educator and former professional graphic designer with more than 30 years of combined industry and teaching experience.

Before entering education, I spent over 15 years working as a graphic designer for organizations including Citibank, the New York Stock Exchange, Princeton Review, and other corporate and educational clients. This professional experience allows me to bring real-world design practices and industry insights into every lesson.

Since 2009, I have taught graphic design to students at the high school level, helping them develop both creative and technical skills through project-based learning and Adobe Creative Cloud applications. As a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructor, I teach Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Animate, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Dimension, while emphasizing design principles, visual communication, and portfolio development.

Whether a student is exploring graphic design for the first time, preparing for college, building a portfolio, or pursuing Adobe certification, my goal is to provide personalized instruction that builds confidence, creativity, and real-world skills.
