Cereal box design project

In this hands-on project, students combined creativity and technical skills to design their own cereal boxes. They began by choosing a unique mascot to represent their cereal brand, adding personality and appeal to their packaging. Using Adobe Illustrator, students not only crafted detailed box designs but also learned to render their cereal pieces in 3D and apply dynamic 3D effects to their cereal box names, enhancing the visual impact. These designs were then brought to life through realistic 3D renderings in Adobe Dimension. Once finalized, the designs were printed on sturdy cardstock paper and precisely cut out using our Mamaki CFL 605RT plotter. Finally, students carefully scored and assembled their boxes by gluing the edges, resulting in professional-quality packaging that showcases both their artistic vision and mastery of digital design tools.
